Your studio account

How to use your account

Everything you can do online: book your group classes, buy packages, keep track of your sessions, and check in when you arrive. It takes about two minutes to get set up.

1. Signing in

Go to connectedbodypilates.com/account and sign in with your email and password. If you have never set a password, or cannot remember it, press Can't get in? Email me a link and we will send you one.

  1. Open connectedbodypilates.com/account
  2. Enter the email address you gave the studio
  3. Type your password, or press Can't get in? Email me a link
  4. If you asked for a link, check your inbox and tap it (check spam the first time)

That one button works for everybody. Whether you forgot your password, never set one, or have never signed in here before, it gets you in. When you arrive you will be offered a password so you will not need a link next time, and you can skip that if you would rather not.

Tip: add the account page to your phone's home screen and it behaves like an app. On iPhone, tap the share icon then Add to Home Screen.

Sign-in links expire after a while and can only be used once. If yours doesn't work, just request a new one.

2. Your health form and waiver

The first time you sign in you'll see a prompt to complete your intake form and waiver. It covers your health history, an emergency contact, and the liability waiver, and it takes a couple of minutes. Penélope reads this before your first session, so please fill it in before you come in.

You'll find it under Profile → Intake & waiver. Once it's submitted, the prompt disappears.

3. Buying sessions

Sessions are bought as packages of credits, then spent when you book. Open the Shop to see everything the studio offers with current pricing.

  • Buy takes you to Square's secure checkout. We never see or store your card details.
  • Your credits appear in your account as soon as the payment goes through.
  • Memberships (Harmony Wellness, Unlimited Sessions) are monthly subscriptions and renew automatically until you cancel.
  • Prices shown don't include tax; tax is added at checkout.

Buying, booking and attending are three separate steps. Buying gives you sessions. Booking holds your place. A session is only spent when you actually arrive and are checked in.

4. Gift cards

A gift card can be spent on any class or package here. Buy one from the Gift Cards page: pick an amount, say who it's for, and we email them a code. You get a receipt, they get the gift.

  • There's nothing to collect and nothing to post. The code arrives by email.
  • Mention the code when you book or when you arrive and Penélope applies it to your visit.
  • It doesn't have to be spent all at once. Whatever is left stays on the code for next time.
  • You can buy one from your own account too, not only from the website.

5. Booking a class

Press Book a class on Home, choose which package to use, then pick a time. Booking holds your place and never charges you again. The session itself comes off when you turn up.

Two things to know:

Group classes are the only sessions you can book yourself. Private and Discovery & Plan sessions are still bought online, but Penélope sets those times personally.

You can book right up until a class starts. Feel like coming in today? If the class hasn't started yet and has room, it's yours. Once it's underway it shows greyed out, and joining late is a text or call away.

If you have no credits left for a service, you'll be pointed to the Shop to buy a package first.

6. Private and Discovery sessions

Buy the package online whenever you like, then text or call Penélope at (959) 204-5400 and she'll find you a time. She schedules these personally so she can plan around what you're working on.

7. Changing or cancelling a booking

Your next session appears on Home with buttons to change it.

  • Reschedule moves a group class to another time. Private sessions are moved by Penélope, so text or call for those.
  • Cancel releases your spot.

The 24-hour rule. Cancel or move a class more than 24 hours ahead and it costs you nothing, because the session is not spent until you arrive. Inside 24 hours, cancelling or rescheduling costs one session, since the spot can rarely be filled that late. Your account tells you which applies before you confirm.

8. Waitlists

If a class is full you can join its waitlist. When someone cancels, everyone waiting is emailed at once and the first to book gets the spot, so it's worth acting quickly. If the class has already started when the spot opens, call the studio instead and Penélope will add you.

9. Events and open houses

Now and then the studio runs something open to everybody: an open house, a workshop, a community morning. These are listed on the Events page.

  • You don't need an account and you don't need to buy anything to come to one. Anyone can sign up, so bring a friend who's never tried it.
  • Places are limited and sign-ups close once an event is full, so it's worth booking early.
  • You'll get a confirmation email with a link that cancels your place, in case something comes up.

10. When you arrive

Tap your name on the check-in iPad at the front desk. It marks you as here and takes one session off your package, and the screen shows you how many you have left.

You can also open your account on your phone and press Check in on Home, or Penélope can do it for you. All three do the same thing.

This is when a session is spent. Not when you booked. So if you come to two classes in one day, that is two sessions.

Missed classes count. If you book a class and don't come (and don't cancel), one session is taken the next morning, the same as a late cancel — the spot was held for you. Cancelling more than 24 hours ahead always costs nothing.

11. Your class history

My sessions in your account has every class you have taken, back to your very first one — not just the last few.

It opens a month at a time. The month you are in is already open; tap any other month to see what you took in it, and tap it again to close it. Each month says how many classes it holds before you open it, and a month you were with us for and did not take a class in still gets a line of its own.

Inside a month, your classes are grouped by the package that paid for them, so you can see what each pack actually went towards rather than working it out one class at a time. A class that was not paid for out of a package is grouped on its own.

There is a search box at the top. Type whatever you have in your head — August, Friday, 8/21, or the name of a package — and it shows you the months with a match in them, already open.

Cancelled classes are not in the months. They are counted separately at the top, because the months answer what you did, not what you booked. A class you booked and missed does show, marked missed.

12. Emails you'll get from us

  • Booking confirmed when you book, with the date and time
  • A reminder about an hour before your session
  • Booking moved or cancelled if anything changes
  • A spot opened up if you're on a waitlist
  • Receipts for payments, and a nudge if a payment didn't complete
  • Studio news now and then, with an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Unsubscribing from news never stops your booking confirmations and reminders.

All of it comes from studio@connectedbodypilates.com. Add it to your contacts so nothing lands in spam.

13. If something goes wrong

My sign-in link didn't work

Links expire and are single-use. Request a new one, and open it on the same device you asked from.

I can't book the class I want

If it's greyed out, it has already started. If it isn't listed at all, it's full or a private session. Text or call and Penélope will sort it out.

My sessions look wrong

Remember a session is only spent when you arrive, so a class you have booked but not yet attended is still counted as yours.

Payments can also take a moment to confirm. If you paid at the studio by card, that can take a little longer to appear. If it still looks wrong after a few minutes, contact the studio and it will be corrected by hand.

If you signed up here with a different email than the studio already had for you, there may be two accounts in your name and your sessions may be sitting on the other one. Tell the studio and the two are joined into one.

I changed my email address

Update it under Profile (tap Update info). Your sign-in moves with it automatically, so use the new address from then on — for both your emails and logging in.

If you are told the email or phone is already in use, that address or number is on another record — usually an older one of your own. The studio can join them; it is not something to fix from here. Any other message means the save itself didn't go through, so nothing changed and it is worth trying again.

Still stuck?

Penélope would much rather hear from you than have you miss a class.
