Welcome to Connected Body Pilates. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, connectedbodypilates.com (the "Site"), and the classes, sessions, and services we offer ("Services"). By using the Site or booking a Service, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
Connected Body Pilates provides Pilates instruction and related wellness services in Farmington, Connecticut. We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or discontinue any class, session, or service, and to update pricing, at any time.
Booking, payment & packages
- Bookings and payments are processed through our third-party provider, Square, and are subject to its terms in addition to ours.
- New clients are required to complete the two-session Discovery & Plan before booking other lessons.
- Packages, memberships, and bundles are valid for the time periods stated at purchase. Unless otherwise noted, sessions do not roll over after a package expires.
- Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change without notice.
Cancellations & missed sessions
We ask that you provide reasonable advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be charged or forfeited in accordance with our current cancellation policy, which we will communicate to you. Please contact us with any scheduling concerns.
Health disclaimer & assumption of risk
Pilates and physical exercise carry inherent risks. By participating, you confirm that you are physically able to take part and that you assume responsibility for your own health and safety. Our instruction is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider. You should consult your physician before beginning any new exercise program, particularly if you are pregnant, recovering from injury, or have a medical condition. You agree to inform your instructor of any condition that may affect your participation.
Conduct
You agree to treat instructors, staff, other clients, and studio equipment with respect, and to follow studio guidelines and safety instructions while on the premises.
Intellectual property
All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Connected Body Pilates or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission.
Third-party links
The Site contains links to third-party services such as our booking platform and map provider. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Connected Body Pilates and Penelope Huerta will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or participation in our Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and your continued use of the Site or Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
